Hannah Breen pitched a three-hitter and South Glens Falls scored four times in the fifth inning to beat Queensbury 7-2 in the semifinals of the Section II Softball Tournament. The Bulldogs will host the Class A championship game on Saturday against Amsterdam.
Whitehall was a winner in Class C, beating Stillwater 4-0 behind Madison Gould's 17-strikeout effort. Lake George will be the Railroaders' semifinal opponent on Saturday after Madeline Gorey and her Warriors teammates defeated Greenwich 4-0.
Warrensburg scored twice in the fifth to rally past Saratoga Catholic 4-2 in another Class C game.
