SEOUL, April 19 (Korea Bizwire)LG Electronics Inc., the maker of the Tromm Styler steam closet, will be introducing a next-generation shoe styler.

The South Korean home appliances giant recently submitted patents for a so-called ‘shoe styler’ to the Korean Intellectual Property Office, and unveiled new information about the shoe styler on Sunday.

The premium shoe styler combines LG’s steam technology and high-performance drying substances to keep all kinds of shoes, from sneakers to luxury footwear, in the best condition.

LG’s new ‘shoe styler’ has precise control over the amount of steam produced from boiling water to minimize shoe damage.

It also eradicates iso-valeric acid and other substances that cause smelly feet, keeping shoes hygienic and sanitary.

The shoe styler applies LG’s newest technology to get rid of moisture and odors from the shoes using high-performance drying substances.

These substances, designed to absorb moisture and odor particles from the shoes, regain their absorption capabilities when they are exposed to heat and pressure.

This technology allows shoe stylers to come in smaller sizes than those using heat pumps, while maintaining powerful drying features.

The shoe styler is scheduled for release in South Korea at some point this year.
